First of all, if you are a guy reading this blog post and are not a open-minded one, you can close this page. And kindly spare me your agonizing thoughts.
"Wah.. Lai liao... PMS liao..."
"Moody.. Maybe she PMS today..."
"Eh... you PMS ah?"
My dear female readers,
I bet the above derogating contemptuous expressions sound familiar to many of us.
Why is it that some men think that they can, or need to, resort to the 'PMS' snide comment, especially when they are at their etc.... at their end of thinking capacities?
Why must a male-female brain-savvy talk lead to female hormones talk whenever we stress to convey our opinions out there?
I couldn't helped but be appalled at the reality of the situation.
It is lame and quite pathetic.
Normally, I would try to restrain from saying anything impolite or what-may-come-out-and-perceive-as-rude.
Usually, I would not dignify the statement or the-seemingly-redundant-conversation, with a response or a comeback.
Although at times I just couldn't stand it. Like now.
Why is it that when we are being pragmatic, we would be labelled the "strong-headed aggressive one"?
When we don't agree with your views (even if we are able to come up with better smarter points), some of you cower, clam up and then suddenly up with your PMS remark.
And when we do not tolerate any nonsense from you, you concluded that we are confirmed having PMS. SERIOUSLY!!!!
&#!?*#?!%@!!*&#!!
A what could-be an intellectual thought-provoking debacle has turned immature and childish.
A what could-be an engaging, intriguing conversation has turned sour and deemed a total waste of our time.
As a young woman in this modern age, I do not consider myself a hard-core feminist. I do however believe in equality. We are just as capable and able as our male counterparts, if not more so in a lot of different dimensions. In the world today, gender is not an issue.
Thus, it is an unfair and unjust attempt to belittle us with a mention as naive as that, as if we only function using our hormones and not our brains. -_-
Well, it might be just my personal opinion.

And of course we have PMS. That is part of our menstrual cycle. And yes we may be hormonal at times. And that is because we freaking have estrogen in our body!!! Without it who the hell can bear your kids? Without it, we are men and you would all fucking men!!! *ahem* No pun intended.
*psst... we don't always have a mood swing, because if we are having a full-blown swing, your head would probably be knocked a few times*
*psssttt..... we just don't like to argue with a poor debater who suka-suka bring up PMS issue whenever he has no other good points to point out*
*psssssttttt.... go back to 1960s if you still think that women should just shut up and listen all to you*
*breath in breath out*
Seriously! You have your hormones testosterone which of course, made you feel like you have to carry ego in the lower part of your body. Yet, we, your female counterparts don't go around saying "Hey, look! It's the penis talking" whenever we feel that your cocky arrogant self is out because you fail to make a clear cut winning argument.
If it is win you are after, go join a sport team. -_-
Don't be a sore loser.
Whether you are a man or woman, your work should always speak for itself. Don't be quick to throw insulting remarks when you fail to make your case. And there is certainly no absolute need to mention our hormone status or PMS.
A quote from the net, "The difference between a lady and a flower girl is not how she behaves, but how she is treated".
And Thank God I married a gentleman who respects me.
