#ourprayersbewiththem

Not a very happy day to blog happy stuff. Or about women's day.
In fact, it is a gloomy day over here in Malaysia for us.

All of us are praying for the safety of the 239 passengers 'lost' in MH370 flight from KL - Beijing earlier today. Of those, 2 are infants.

My heart just winched when I read it. Very disturbing news. I rather it be a cruel joke.

It's a sad day for our nation.

My heart just goes out to the family members of the passengers.
Even more to the 2 babies onboard and the rest of the passengers and crews onboard as well.
They must be in terrifying state, shocked and scared. Hopefully not in pain.

Keep wondering how can a modern plane be undetectable or 'lost contact'? I mean, it is a big plane with all the canggih technology, right. Best case scenario is that the plane has mechanical technical problem and had to stop somewhere emergency and managed to land somewhere safe but no satellite connection (okay at this point, I'm not sure if they contact via satellite or whatever else mode of connections that I have never heard of) and thus unable to 'contact' the main tower and then found out no proper runway to take off and also no fuel. So they are merely stranded and everybody is fine. Safely and soundly complaining about MAS planes being inefficient.

This especially touches my heart and soul because all these while, I have always wanted to go Beijing and see its sophisticated city and admire its beautiful modern people and enjoy its cultural richness and climb the Great Wall of China and do something forbidden in the Forbidden City, like conceive a baby there (something that I always joked around with my close friends, pre-Maya times).

Just last September or October, we were actually planning to book a trip to Beijing in March 2014. Cheaper fares for all government servants.
What stopped us then was that I left my credit card at home, in PineappleLand.

Just shudder recalling that.
Choy choy choy!!!

We hope that the authorities and the rescue team will and can quickly find them before more speculations made by insensitive public taunting the poor family. Be strong and hold on to your hopes.

It's been more than 6 hours. If even Dear Hubby and I are anxious to this level, I can't imagine how it is for the ones involved. I hope they will update us soon.

I think I speak for all when I say all our prayers are with them.
Please let them find all the 239 people.
May God bless them. And their family waiting at home. Let them all go home safely.
