Feeling accomplished.

Super empowering powerful day! Did so many things today I feel super accomplished. It could be the fact that I woke up super early today and not fall asleep by 9pm...yet.

Last weekend I went to Saratok for a cataract camp. It was a 4day 3night kind of mission, some sort of outreach to the more rural area in Sarawak. My mission was accomplished! All operations went well and smoothly. Not I did all the op laaaa, I only did the minor surgeries. Two other specialists were with me - they did the major ones. Thoroughly enjoyed doing a (although) small part to help people with my ability. I was as grateful for the opportunity as well as the patients were thankful to us for the service.

Selfie with the nurses.. Thank you for the good help!

Mission accomplished! Hanging out session with the rest of the crew...

Only downside of that mission was that I miss my baby girl terribly.... It would be 200% perfect if she could have been with me all that time... I missed her so much I had to watch her videos before I went to sleep and the first thing I woke up in the morning, just so to trick my brain that my baby girl was lying next to me like she always does, just so I don't cry so badly from missing her so so sibeh much.... So terribly teruk missing her right hahaha.. That was my very first time leaving her okay!!! *sniffles*

And while I was away at work, Dear Hubby single-handedly took care of Baby Maya!!! He was working also... And both of them survived!!! And he had done a fantastic job as well!!!!

*applause applause*
*bowing*

Hail to Dear Hubby!!! Super dad.... *hearts hearts*
Well done my love!!!
YOU MADE ME SO FREAKING PROUD!!!

I came home to a very happy smiley baby who apparently missed me so so much too because she did not allow me to leave her sight after that... LOLOLOL and I was super fine with that (and secretly pleasant too! Hahahaha).

Digressing...
Anyways... this weekend it is Dear Hubby's turn to have some personal time - cycling of course..... (what else right)

So, it is Baby and Mummy's weekend!!!
*supermum mode activated*
*selfie first laaaaa*

Woke up at crazy 6.30am (usually Sundays would indulge in sleeping in) but since the little monkey has already woken up and chattering noncomprehensible sounds, might as well seize the day! Spent a good half an hour snuggling and nuzzling my baby girl.... Ahhhhh what blissful start of the day it was already!!!

Mopped the floor and washed bottles. It was very impossible to clean the house with a very busybody infant crawling behind and everywhere. Hahaha! So I put her in her walker and made things worse because then she thought I was playing some sort of stick mop catch game with her. Hahaha! It was actually very amusing and enjoyable on my side too! Had the time to clean the balcony too.

Threw laundry into machine and bath baby girl. Super capably washed the bathroom also and then cleaned myself. Then prepare a hearty breakfast for the both of us. Put on kiddie songs and play play play with baby....

After she kepoh2 running here and there, chasing me (more like the mop).. Tired out with the 'strenuous' exercise.. Teeheeeheee!

While my princess was having her nap, I chopped and cut for our lunch - fish porridge. Fuss free, simple and very nutritious! The perfect menu for busy day like this doing chores... Then I hung the laundry and ironed our clothes. Only skipped one weekend and I was already cursing at the mountain-high clothes piled up in the basket needing ironing as I sweated away in the small room...

Baby woke up. Dropped everything else and went to feed her first.

Most valuable lesson of mummyhood that I can ever give to any of you new mummies -

A FULL BABY IS A HAPPY BABY.
A HAPPY BABY MAKES A HAPPY MUMMY.
A HAPPY MUMMY, COMES A HAPPY DADDY,
WELL... IT IS BASICALLY A HAPPY FAMILY.

Keep this omen in mind and you will be fine. :)

Nothing gives me more accomplished feeling that Baby Maya appreciatively finished up the bowl of porridge. And the baby biscuits. I'm a tad worry that she is quite the smaller size as compared to her peers but hey, if she is feeding well and active and happy, perhaps I shouldn't concentrate so much on that.

Bath time and play time again. Even taught baby a new thing - birds fly - today. We have a flock of birds that made their nests in our roof, so they sometime will fly and sit on our window sill. Sometimes they are good, sometimes they literally give me angry bird action on the window, which boils me up because I have to clean their sh*t. Literally. But today they are chirping and singing by our window on a sunny Sunday afternoon. And that was superbly nice.

See the way she gloriously pengsan-ed hahahahhahaha..... So cute! Quickly while she takes her afternoon nap, I did all my Internet snooping and scooping... :P

We took a 20-minute walk in the garden down our lovely apartment in the cool evening breeze. Went back home, bath time again and started our evening rituals. Finally my energetic lively precious went to dreamland and I had the time to prepare her lunches for the week, also to write this blog. :)

*phew*

What a day! Mostly domestic errands but that is my day. That is my routine now.
Sunday is the family day.

Another two hours to go, I better get some studying done before I join in the snoozing duo in the bedroom!

Have a good night people!
