I Say He Says - New Ride

Me: Can I drive your new ride?
Dear Hubby: No.
Me: Please?
Dear Hubby: No.
Me: Why not?!
Dear Hubby: You drove the old Altis up the curb at The Spring basement parking and badly scratched the side. All the previous cars you banged the back.
Me: CX5 got front and reverse camera. Won't bang liao.
Dear Hubby: No.
Me: It's my car also!
Dear Hubby: No.

>.< Boys and their toy. Kns.

Taking this opportunity to wish all my Muslim friends a very Selamat Hari Raya.
Drive safe! Stay safe!
Eat more rendang and ketupat!

To my Moscow Muslim friends, I miss our hanging out and chilling at Embassy each year during Raya. And yes, especially you Mr Diva.

Maaf zahir dan batin!

The Ride Decision

Twenty years ago, Le Brotha decided to come and pick me up from my extracurricular activity in school on a Saturday.

He came - in a trishaw. -__-

And proudly announced that he 'pao' the trishaw to bring us to the bus station, where we will take a bus back.

Poor ah pek had to cycle both of us under the hot burning sun for just RM1 or 2 (I can't recall) at that time.

Some more I remember I sat in between him and a Bangala in the bus.

Because Stingy Le Brotha paid for only one seat. -__-

And we squeezed uncomfortably into one seat all the way back home.

All because he wanted to save the money which, Le Homemaker gave, to buy I-cant-remember-what-now. -__-

So you can imagine. Damn horrific la when he showed up in that trishaw.
Wtf. Haha.

Therefore, make the right ride decision.

And after ages of weighing the ups and downs, we have finally made up our minds on our new ride!

But before that.....

In case some of you readers are nutcases or psychos and decided to follow me and stalk me. Haha.

Some tips for driving in the rain.
Especially useful for drivers in Sarawak where it tends to flood.

1) Don't follow the front cars too closely. They may brake suddenly and in wet weather, your car may take longer to stop.

2) Drive slower through flooded area. If you drive too fast, you may enter the aquaplane - that's is when your tyres cannot get traction with the road. So scary la, like slippery.

3) Maintain a steady speed. Driving fast may splash water into the engine compartment. Your car may stall and refuse to start. Then you stranded inside the car in the flood. So tragic.

4) Press brake gently few times after passing through flooded area. Apparently the friction of the brakes will cause heat to dry them up. Pretty neat huh. If you don't do that, your brakes may not work as well.

5) Use your headlights in the rain. It's difficult to see properly in the rain, so highlight as necessary. And don't forget to signal well in advance!

We are here in Kuching again for the week.

This time, stylish glamour in our new fourwheel.

Awesome!

Honk honk!

Have a ravishing week everyone!

Pump up with Oxygen

Rewarded myself with a Oxygen Facial Therapy today!!!

Awesome! Was given eye mask for free because apparently my eyes damn teruk la.. Tired looking, eyebags.. I was just too delighted with the free stuff, she can say whatever she liked! Haha.

After pumping my face with oxygen, the beautician gave me shoulder, neck and head massage while my face was absorbing all the water goodness of hydrating face mask. I can feel the pent up stress melted away as she slowly unknotted my back muscles, literally.

Needless to say, very soon I dozed off.

And woke up to a happy relaxed well-rested me!

Time for a nice cup of green tea!!!

Ciaoz...
